To commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day 2015, the City worked with The Weber School, with students hosting a number of Holocaust survivors in their classroom. As you'll see in the video, Dr. John Galambos, husband of Mayor Emeritus Eva Galambos, is among the survivors who interacted with the students. At the start of the war, Galambos was transported to a Hungarian Labor Camp, and later transferred to Bergen Belsen concentration camp in Germany, until liberated by U.S. troops.
