PET POLICY

Pets are only allowed at the Blue Stone 5K9

For the safety of both pets and people, we ask that you leave your pets at home. Service animals are permitted. 

 

RIDESHARE

The Ride Share drop-off is located on Johnson Ferry Rd: 215 Johnson Ferry Rd, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 (Google Maps)

 

WHERE TO PARK

Due to anticipated heavy traffic and road closures, you should plan to use the FREE SHUTTLE that will run between Lake Forest Elementary School and the Blue Stone Festival throughout the event. 

Please only park in approved Parking Lots. If the Lake Forest Elementary parking lot is full, the next best parking lot is at Century Springs Office Park. 

ADA Parking is available in the City Springs Parking Deck.

ADA INFORMATION 

ADA Parking is available in the City Springs Parking Deck. 

  • Use West Entrance (directions below)
  • ADA parking is allowed in "Valet Parking Only" spaces. 
  • To access the parking garage (Please use West Entrance)
    • From Johnson Ferry Rd, turn onto Sandy Springs Circle
    • Turn left on Galambos Way
    • The parking garage entrance will be on your right. 

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

Is it free?

  • The event is free to attend.
  • All performances on City Green and South Stage are free.  
  • Kids Zone - A $15 wristband gives you unlimited access to the inflatables and rides. Additional activities will be available for a small fee. 

What should I bring?

  • Be sure to drink lots of water & wear sunscreen. 
  • Wear comfortable shoes. The walk from the City Green to the South Stage is 0.3 miles long. The walk from Century Springs Office Parking Lot to the Festival is 0.6 miles.
    • Staff will be utilizing golf carts during the festival and will not be able to give rides to attendees.

Can I bring table / chairs? 

  • Blankets, lawn chairs (low back chairs preferred) are allowed.
  • Umbrellas are allowed to protect you from the heat. Please lower them during a performance. 
  • No tents. No pop-up tents, tarp tents, or canopy tents.
  • No outside tables. Please do not move existing bistro tables and chairs on the plaza.

Can I bring my kids?

  • The Blue Stone Festival is a family-friendly event. It features a Kids Zone and many performances are intended for families. 
  • The Kids Zone will feature inflatables and rides. A $15 wristband gives you unlimited access to the inflatables and rides. 
  • Family Entertainment will be performed near City Green on Saturday morning, September 28. Schedule to be announced! 

Can I bring my dog?

Pets are only allowed at the Blue Stone 5K9

Where are the restrooms?

  • Restrooms & porta-potties are available throughout the festival & approved parking lots. ADA restrooms are available at all locations. 
  • Indoor restrooms are available in the building on Mt. Vernon Hwy or in City Hall. 
  • Porta-potties are available:
    • At the Lake Forest Elementary School Parking Lot 
    • At the Century Springs Office Parking Lot 
    • Near the Byers Theatre. 
    • Near the Sports Zone, on the east side. 
    • Near the Kids Zone / South Stage, on Hildebrand Dr.

Can I bring my drone? 

  • Drones are not permitted.

Are there any road closures? 

  • Yes! Learn more about Road Closures 
  • Customers will be able to access the Springs Landing Shopping Center (Brooklyn Café). 
  • Residents of Blue Stone Lofts, the Aston, and other neighboring apartments will be able to access their parking garages.
