Paws and Pastries 2024

Join us for our fifth annual dog socialization event, Paws and Pastries!
There will be dog treats, prizes, tennis balls, water and pastries! Spending time at the park helps keep a dog’s socialization skills in tip-top form and can wear out a busy pup.
Due to the Dog Park's closure for planned improvements, this year's event will take place in the upper Morgan Falls Overlook Park green space (by the pavilion). The space will be temporarily fenced-in with one large area.
Please bring your own dog bowl and water to minimize sharing between dogs. Pawty from 12 - 3 p.m.
Enjoy our Dog Costume Contest! Bring the entry form with you to enter into the contest. Dogs may change into their costume before 12:30 p.m. for the judging. Costumes may be homemade or store bought. Dogs and owners may compete together. However, only one dog per entry. All entries need to be submitted by 12:30 pm; judging starts at 1:00 pm. There will be three award classes dogs may compete in; small (under 25lbs.), medium (25-60lbs.), and large (60lbs. +).
We will also have a best of show award for the best costume out of the entire event. Costume contest is optional, feel free to be a spectator and enjoy the pastries and socialization!
Pups and pet parents need to abide by very important dog park rules to keep their time safe at both ends of the leash. We can’t wait for this pAWESOME event!
