Chief Keith Sanders

The City of Sandy Springs Fire Department's Chief is Keith Sanders. Chief Sanders joined SSFD in October 2014 with more than 35 years experience in fire service and public safety. He joined us from the City of Alpharetta where he served as Fire Chief and most recently as Deputy Director of Public Safety. In that  role, Chief Sanders oversaw operations for the fire department, as well as police and 911 operations. In addition to fire service, Chief Sanders is a sworn police officer and a graduate of the FBI National Academy, an invitation-only program. He was recently officially recognized as a Certified Public Manager by the University of Georgia Carl Vinson Institute of Government.  To contact the Chief's office dial: 770-206-2082

Chief Sanders holds a B.S. from Toccoa Falls College and an M.P.A. from Columbus State University.
