Career Expo in Sandy Springs Connecting Workforce and Workplace Returns September 12 

Sandy Springs Connects!, the Perimeter’s premier career expo, returns on Thursday, September 12 to link qualified jobseekers with local Sandy Springs businesses. The free event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center and will feature dozens of businesses who will meet with over 250 jobseekers seeking careers with competitive salaries, benefits, and room for growth. The previous Sandy Springs Connects! Career Expo resulted in numerous interviews, eight on-the-spot job offers and seven additional offers within a week.

“We have a tried-and-true formula,” shares Xianqin ‘Lisa’ Wallace, Director of the CAC Career Center. “Our face-to-face event allows jobseekers to make a personal connection before the online application process, giving them an edge through candidate selection process.” The CAC Career Center has experience in this field, helping hundreds of jobseekers each year find better employment opportunities, leading to self-sufficiency and stability for families.

Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul adds, “With its diverse business landscape—ranging from independent and mid-sized companies to large corporations and Fortune 500 firms—Sandy Springs offers a wealth of opportunities. Coupled with the skills and experience of our local candidates, this makes the career expo exceptionally successful.” Companies such as State Farm, UPS, Cox Enterprises, Northside Hospital, and Symphona, all with a strong presence in the Perimeter area, will exhibit at the career expo.
