The City of Sandy Springs invites the public to attend an open house regarding Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded sidewalk projects. There will not be a formal presentation, but staff will be available to discuss the projects and answer questions.

            When:            Thursday, March 20, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

            Where:          Sandy Springs City Hall

                                    Barfield Conference Room

                                    1 Galambos Way

The projects aim to improve pedestrian accessibility in the City. Information on the following sidewalk projects will be shared:

  • Hope Road

  • Northwood Drive (sidewalk upgrades and signalized pedestrian crossing)

The Community Development Block Grant is a federal program, supporting community development activities, providing grants to states and local governments. The sidewalk improvements are included in the City’s CDBG Consolidated Plan. The CDBG Consolidated Plan is a five-year plan that describes the City's community development priorities and goals based on an assessment of housing and development needs.
