The City of Sandy Springs will be hosting a public information open house for the Roswell Road North End Boulevard project. This open house provides an opportunity for the public to view the proposed improvements, ask questions, and offer feedback.
When: Wednesday, February 26, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Where: Sandy Springs Middle School, 8750 Pride Place, Sandy Springs, GA 30350
Background: The project aims to improve safety and mobility on Roswell Road, between Dunwoody Place and Roberts Drive. Proposed improvements include a new signalized intersection at Roswell Road and North River Parkway, a connector road between Roberts Drive and North River Parkway, pedestrian lighting, a multi-use path, and sidewalks.
Funding is being provided by the City of Sandy Springs and the Georgia Department of Transportation. The City’s funding is included in the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (T-SPLOST) program approved by voters in Sandy Springs and Fulton County in November 2021.
