Sparkle Sandy Springs Was a Huge Success!

Approximately 5,000 people attended Sparkle Sandy Springs, the City’s annual holiday event. Now in its fifth year, the event continues to add new elements each year helping kick off the holidays at City Springs.

Large crowds gathered on the City Green to enjoy the holiday concert, frolic in the snow provided by snow machines, and shop with craft vendors at the Sparkle Gift Market. Mount Vernon Highway was lined on both sides with attendees anticipating the Sparkle Holiday Parade that featured participants and floats from area schools, non-profit organizations and civic groups. The parade featured an appearance by Santa and the event culminated in the lightings of the Menorah and Christmas tree.

While the concert and gift market were new this year, the Sparkle Village that features miniature houses adorned with lights and holiday motifs has been a tradition since the event’s inception in 2017. The Sparkle Village provides the perfect photo op for holiday photos and will remain on display through Jan. 1, 2022.
