Roswell Road Transit Access and Streetscape Improvements

Project Overview

This project will improve pedestrian access to transit along the Roswell Road corridor from the City limits to I-285.

Improvements are funded jointly by the City of Sandy Springs and a MARTA Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant.

The project will construct sidewalks where there are currently gaps along the east and west sides of Roswell Road and will reconstruct them in areas where they are currently substandard. Additional streetscape improvements include:

  • ADA curb ramps
  • Bus stop shelters
  • Pedestrian lighting
  • Brick pavers
  • Landscaping
