Water and Sewer Provider

The Atlanta Department of Watershed Management is the water provider in Sandy Springs. If you are experiencing issues with drinking water or water-main breaks, this is who you should call. They also handle billing for both water-supply and sewer service.  

If you have questions regarding your water bill, the City of Atlanta has asked that you first call the ATL311 Call Center (404-546-0311).  You can also mail or fax a letter to:

Sewer Maintenance and New Sewer Lines

Fulton County maintains the sewer system in System in Sandy Springs. If you are experiencing problems with your sewer line (blockages etc.), this is who you should contact. Also, if your property has a septic tank and you would like to connect to the sewer system, this is where you would initiate that process.

You can report a power outage, including a streetlight out directly to Georgia Power. Note that streetlights illuminate our streets, signals instruct cars when to stop and go.

Natural Gas Providers

Atlanta Gas Light operates and maintains the infrastructure that delivers the gas to customers of certified natural gas marketers. To report a gas leak, call their emergency number at 1-877-427-4321. To establish natural gas service, shop the marketeers approved by the Georgia Public Service Commission. You will find that each company has varying rates and many offer special sign-up deals, so compare and select a provider that is right for you:
