Water Sports

Aside from being beautiful to look at, the Chattahoochee River is fun to play in! Grab a canoe, kayak or raft and spend a day rolling down the river. Check out the fastest growing water sport in the country: paddle boarding. Stand Up Paddle-boarding resembles surfing with a broad board and paddle, which the boarder uses to propel and maneuver the craft on flat water or on waves. To learn more about this popular water sport and give it a try, Murphs Surf will offer classes soon at Morgan Falls Overlook Park.
