  • PARK SMOKING BAN

    Smoking and the use of other tobacco products, including the use of e cigarettes is no longer permitted at City of Sandy Springs parks. During its June 3, 2014 meeting, the City of Sandy Springs City Council approved an amendment to its Recreation and Parks smoking ordinance, prohibiting smoking and use of tobacco products by anyone using city parks.

  • WINDSOR PARKWAY PROJECT GRANT

    Gov. Nathan Deal announced the funding approval for 20 transportation infrastructure projects including the Windsor Parkway at Roswell Road realignment project in Sandy Springs. The project will correct the intersection angle and resultant split-phased traffic signals. Added turn lanes will address traffic volumes.   • IS YOUR ALARM REGISTERED?

    Residents and businesses who use a monitored alarm system to protect their buildings must have their alarm system registered with the City. Information regarding the City's alarm ordinance and how to register your alarm can be found at sandyspringsga.gov/alarm.
