Solicitation permits are required for door-to-door solicitations for commercial transactions for profit only. They are not meant to regulate solicitation for charitable, political or other nonprofit purposes provided that all sales proceeds are the property of and used by the nonprofit organization.
The fee for a solicitation permit is $75 and should be accompanied with a map of the area where the applicant is going to be daily.
The ordinance governing solicitation in Sandy Springs is section 26-217 of the City Code.
